Mondo Convenienza T&Cs for transport service

Introduction These Terms and Conditions ("T&Cs") govern the services provided by Maltashopper for the collection, transportation, local delivery, and assembly of furniture orders from Mondo Convenienza ("MC"). By using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms. Throughout these T&Cs, any reference to a Mondo Convenienza order refers to an individual order issued by Mondo Convenienza with its own unique reference number. Multiple MC orders would incur separate charges and are not considered to be one order. Services and Charges Collection and Delivery Service 1. Cost: The charge for the Collection and Delivery Service is 20% of the value of the MC order, subject to a minimum fee of €250. If the order contains Sofas, Maltashopper reserves the right to quote a different fee based on the size and weight of the sofa involved. Documentation and Payment 1. Required Documentation: Before we can proceed with the collection of your order, the following documents must be provided: - ID Card - Copy of the MC order - Copy of payment confirmation to MC - An authorisation letter authorising Maltashopper to collect the order Payment: Full payment of our service fee must be made before we can collect your order. Collection and Transportation 1. Collection Timeline: Once we receive confirmation from MC that the full order is ready for collection, we will collect it within 2 weeks. 2. Unloading: Upon collection, the order will be unloaded into our warehouse within 10 days, provided there is no disruption in the shipping service. Local Delivery 1. Lifter Requirement: If you have opted for local delivery and your goods need to be delivered above the ground floor, you are responsible for organising a lifter. 2. Delivery Timeline: Local delivery will be organised within 1 week of the order arriving in our warehouse. Liability, Refunds and Damages Damages: Maltashopper will do its utmost to avoid any damages during the transit of your goods. However, we strongly recommend that customers take out insurance to protect against any potential damage. Maltashopper is not responsible for any damages incurred during transit, and Mondo Convenienza will not accept any damaged items back for replacement. Delays: Maltashopper is not liable for any delays or disruptions caused by third-party shipping companies or any other circumstances beyond our control. Refunds: Maltashopper will not refund any part of its fees should any delay in service occur or should any item arrive damaged. Amendments Maltashopper reserves the right to amend these T&Cs at any time. The latest version will always be available on our website. By using our services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

How do I use your service to order from Mondo Convenienza?

Thank You for Your Interest in Mondo Convenienza! How to Place and Pay for Your Order 1.    Order Directly – Place your order on the Mondo Convenienza website. For assistance, you may want to chat with their customer care team. 2.    Payment  Pay Mondo Convenienza directly. They will provide an invoice with bank transfer details. 3.    Collection Request – Request that your order be collected from the Mondo Convenienza Catania warehouse. Costs & Delivery Transport & Delivery ✅ We collect orders only when all items are ready at the Catania warehouse. ✅ We transport them to Malta. ❌ Local delivery is NOT included. If you need delivery to your door, we can provide a quote after your items arrive in Malta (cost depends on the number of boxes, size, and weight). 💰 Cost of Transport (Catania to Malta) •    20% of the Mondo Convenienza invoice value (minimum €250). •    For orders containing sofas, prices may vary based on weight and size. 📄 Final Quote: To receive an exact transport cost, send us a copy of your Mondo Convenienza invoice. You will then receive a final payment request covering all charges to Malta. 📌 Codice Fiscale Requirement Some Italian websites may require a Codice Fiscale (Italian tax code), even if you’re not an Italian citizen. You can generate one here: Codice Fiscale Generator •    In the PROVINCIA field, enter EE if you are not an Italian resident. Order Check Before Shipping ✔️ Our Catania team will inspect your order for visible damage before loading it onto our truck. ✔️ We will deliver all boxes that Mondo Convenienza consigns to us as part of your order. Insurance & Liability 🔴 Insurance is highly recommended! ❌ Damaged goods cannot be returned or replaced. ❌ Maltashopper is NOT responsible for damage during transit.
